The first 30 minutes of the class covers espresso basics - what coffee is, how roast and grind affect flavor, and how to pull a balanced espresso shot. You’ll also learn how to tell if a shot is too sour or too bitter and how to fix it.
The second 30 minutes focuses on milk steaming 101. You’ll learn how to use a steam wand and create smooth, silky microfoam for café-style drinks.
By the end, you’ll know how to pull a great espresso shot and steam milk for lattes and other espresso drinks.
